Lino Ramble
Nestled in the McLaren Vale wine region, Lino Ramble is a boutique winery that embraces organic and biodynamic farming, crafting wines that reflect the Mediterranean/Australian character of the region. Founded by Andy Coppard and Angela Townsend, the winery focuses on climate-appropriate grape varieties, ensuring sustainability and minimal intervention in the winemaking process.
Lino Ramble’s portfolio includes Pinot Grigio, Arinto, Grillo, Fiano, Sangiovese, Nero d’Avola, Bastardo, Nebbiolo, Saperavi, and Jaen, each selected for their ability to thrive in McLaren Vale’s warm climate. The winery prioritizes texture over primary flavors, creating wines that are approachable, medium-weight, and expressive.
Beyond winemaking, Lino Ramble is deeply connected to nostalgia and adventure, drawing inspiration from childhood memories of lino floors, vinyl records, and board games. This playful yet serious approach to winemaking is reflected in the winery’s branding and philosophy, making each vintage a journey of discovery.
Visitors can experience Lino Ramble’s Cellar Door, located at 148 McMurtrie Road, McLaren Vale. The tasting room is housed in a historic cottage, shared with two other boutique wineries, offering an intimate and immersive wine experience.
